Spelling: Study Spelling for trial test on Thursday.
Reading: We read the first part of "Dancing Rainbows" and worked at our literacy workstations.
Math: We worked on using comparisons symbols: <,>, and =.

Reading: We started our new story, "Dancing Rainbows". We worked on vocabulary and fluency.
Math: We read a thermometer to the nearest degree and identified the freezing and boiling points of water and normal body temperature on the Fahrenheit scale.
Homework: Leaf collections due Friday

Math: We learned to tell and show time to five-minute intervals. We identified a.m. and p.m., we identified the number of minutes in an hour, and the number of hours in a day.

Reading: We discussed our story, "The Ballad of Mulan". We also worked at our literacy workstations.
Math: We worked on ordering three-digit numbers listing combinations.
Book-its will be due at the end of October. Your child is to read 4 books this month. Then you must sign the list of books that they have read. Finally, your child will get a coupon for a free personal pan pizza.
